WHAT IS CHARCUTERIE?
The word is of French origin(pronounced “shar-ku-tuh-ree”). Charcuterie is the art of preparing cured meats (smoking, salting and drying). It was originally intended as a way to preserve meat before the advent of refrigeration, they are prepared today for their flavors derived from the preservation processes.
Many South Africans know it as BILTONG!

Our beef is raised in the Limpopo Bushveld, it is all grass fed and free range, making it of the highest quality. Beef forequarters weight ranges between 40-50kg. Beef hindquarters weight ranges between 55-65kg. All our boere worse is made with highest quality veld raised brisket fat.
Our lamb is grass fed and free range, raised in the Limpopo Bushveld, not in small paddocks! Making our meat of the highest quality. Lambs weight ranges from 18-25kg.
Our game meat is harvested in the pristine Limpopo Bushveld, making it of the highest quality, all being free range, and wild! Venison (game meat), is gaining huge popularity due to it being a healthy alternative to livestock, such as beef, lamb and pork. Venison is a delicious lean meat that has huge health benefits in comparison to other intensively farmed meat sources.
Impala meat is lighter in color when compared to other game meats, with a milder taste to other venison alternatives. It is lean and flavorful. Whole impalas range in weight from 25-40kg.
